Manage Page Headers

The Manage Page Headers tool allows an Administrator to create individual headers for each page in Merlin Web.  A page header may be a simple image, or a richly formatted HTML document created with the integrated HTML editor.  Page headers are not available for pages in the Admin Interface.

The Manage Page Header interface consists of an upper list containing all defined page headers, and a lower creation interface.  When creating a new Page Header, the “page name” is the path destination without the .aspx extension.  For example, the Data Catalog path might be http://ServerName1/AppName/datacatalog.aspx.  The page name for the Data Catalog page would be “datacatalog”.  Header icons can be uploaded using the Upload a File control at the bottom of the page.

Once a page header is created, it must be enabled on that page.  For a walkthrough on enabling web parts, please refer to Modify Website Page Appearance.
