Type ID
A Type ID is a unique identification number for a measurement that reflects the Project, Station, Sensor Type, and Sensor ID to which it is attached. The basic format for a type ID is Project.Station.ArrayType.SensorID.MeasurementID. For Instance, a Type ID of 5002.21.105.3.1 belongs to Project 5002, Station 21, Sensor 3 and is the first measurement on that Sensor. The 105 indicates that the Sensor Array is a dual Pressure array.
A set of type IDs that begin with 5002 are all a part of project 5002. A group of type IDs that all begin with 1004.33.--.--.—all belong to the same station. A group of Type IDs that have identical values in the third position (xx.xx.160.xx.xx) are all the same type of sensor.
